BUILDING THE INSTRUCTIONAL CAPACITY OF BEGINNING TEACHERS

In partnership with Riverside County Office of Education and Tulare County Office of Education, REEd is piloting a context driven approach for integrating the a common set of instructional practices into programs for teacher interns and beginning teachers. The project will result in a professional learning model for instructional leaders who support preservice and beginning teachers. In the last year of the project REEd will host a series of stakeholder convenings that address the need for formalized roles for teacher leadership and the role of county offices in supporting those roles.
